Hey I love 1.7.10 too but lets face it there is some very real issues with it ... I am going to be learning java and javascript and working on 1.8 modding since its the last version before minecraft vanilla gets a massive overhaul. Could you consider updating as well? I understand if you are reluctant but it would be a good move.
