JEED removes effect durations.

Tested on Neoforge 21.1.169

Minecraft 1.12.1

Only mods installed are JEI and JEED.

Effects have no visible duration.

Disabling JEED returns the duration timer.

This renders the mod unusable for its intended function.

I also have this result. Im on Forge 1.20.1 with JEI and JEED, the effect durations are gone and the ability to actually click on the effect as well.
