Dirt, gravel, granite, diorite, andesite, infested stone and magma blocks all generate as mineral veins just like ore blocks do, but none seem to be present in World Gen by default. (also there's several more such veins being added in vanilla 1.16)

Not sure if I want to add dirt, gravel and regular stone. But the "special" ones might be good to add.

1.16 has details for each mineral vein in the new custom json files - maybe the mod could automatically read those and extract the relevant data?
