Villager Trade weird layering or misplaced items

That is odd indeed, which version of JER is this?
It looks to me like the items are where they are supposed to be, but the background is not correct.
I think I fixed this with #367. The issue is still present in 1.18 releases though. I don't see a 1.18 branch though, so I'm not sure how to go about backporting the fix.
