Description of the issue you are having

Hammers not work with non-stone blocks. In previous versions it work. If it's a feature, pls make it possible to change this in the config

Not sure I know what you mean? It works with any blocks a pickaxe would normally be able to hammer

I can confirm. in the past, when mining, if you encounter dirt or gravel, the blocks would be broken if they were within the grid. now the are ignored.

same for me on the 1.20.1 version

Yeah, that was a bug. This is fixed now so the hammers mimc a pickaxe. You can break a single wrong block like vanilla but it won't trigger the radius break
