trying to make any changes to the options.txt through the ingame menu causes the error 'Failed to save options' and no changes to be saved after reloading the client. the specific error given is:

thought removing the conflict had fixed the problem, but while the error no longer appears and the options.txt was successfully saved, the client still no longer reads the set keybindings and instead uses the default that are set when you first create the option.txt. i wont be able to test it now but there is another conflict i believe.

Per jaredlll08's comment on the other issue, I would check with the authors of remember-my-txt to see what they have to say.

test with just this and 'remember-my-txt' and start getting the problem again, so it is between these two mods. i will make a report on their github.

ive removed 'remember my txt' which has stopped the error logs but i am still getting the problem where the game is not using the set controls and instead using the default ones. removing this mod fixes the problem, so it seems like there were 2 separate conflicts with this mod. this bug is still present without controlling so its not either of those 2 mods.

and for the second issue i managed to pin down the mod "equipment compare" causing the conflict.
