Items held in hand do not light up the environment, but do light up the shield

Describe the bug
I had my enchanted shield equipped in my off hand, and I noticed when I had a torch equipped in my main hand, it didn't light up the area around me. I've had this mod installed for many months and this is the first time I noticed it wasn't working. I do know it worked in the past, but I'm unsure of when it broke or of when I may have installed something that conflicts with it. I attempted to recreate the bug with various other light emissive object, and they all produced the same result.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to a dark area with an enchanted shield in your off hand
- Hold a dynamic item in your primary hand
- See error
Expected behavior
Dynamic items, when held in your hand, are supposed to light up the environment around you.
