I really wish the torch flower had more purpose so would love this mod to add a light level to this plant.

Just simply adding a light level to the torch flower!

Can download another mod but would like to have everything in one mod as much as possible!

Hello, while I sympathize with the sentiment that the torchflower should emit light, I don't think it'd be a good fit as default behavior in this mod.

However, LambDynamicLights offer a way to add light to items and entities entirely through resource packs.

Here's the corresponding resource pack to give the effect you want: torchflower_dynamic_lighting.zip
If the light level doesn't match what you expect you can modify the assets/torchflower_lighting/dynamiclights/item/torchflower.json and change the luminance value to a number between 0 and 15.

If there's really high demand for this feature I can look into either uploading the resource pack to Modrinth or make it built-in in LambDynamicLights (it still wouldn't be on by default).
