I have been modifying the .jar file to add support for this, but I would love it if this was just native. Can we add the totem of undying as a light source? It makes it so much nicer to have it glow with it in your off hand. I don't really care which level, I usually do 15. It is just adding in an additional .json file for the totem, no other code changes.

Perfect timing: a resource pack adding such thing has been released a few hours ago.

But I am not going to add this to the base mod: some stuff is already opinionated but this one is like, a very personal preference depending on the people who use it, so the resource pack way is much better imo.
