Did the issue happen in singleplayer or on a server?

Can't reproduce this. Tooltips update properly in my game.

My test Environment:
Forge 40.1.68
AE2 11.1.4
Lazier AE2 3.0.2
without any mods

I can easy to reproduce this.
Just put a machine from Lazier AE2 in the world, and edit its I/O configuration.

Forge 40.1.68
Applied Energistics 11.1.4
LazierAE2 3.0.2 (in my dev environment with some changes but unrelated to tooltips): 3.0.2

I don't know what's going on. Does it only happen for the I/O config or also for the auto extract button?

I also tried it in a fresh CurseForge profile with only AE2 and the current version of LazierAE2 that's hosted on CF and it works fine. I don't know how you get this issue. @StarskyXIII
