This was in 1.16.1. On there I was using [1.16.1]+SuperAxes-1.1.4 for breaking logs (but disabled it breaking leaves). I'm currently on 1.16.2 and haven't encountered this issue since switching.

Kay, gonna guess this was a unique interaction with that mod (happy to look into it more if anyone is still using this on 1.16.1 and sees the same thing, though). Thanks for the quick response!

Seems to work fine in 1.16.1. Guessing this was from an older version?
