Jittery speed when riding minecart

What happened wrong?

Context

1. Build a straight rails that extends far enough
2. Have better f3 enabled
3. ride the rails with minecart
4. open the f3 menu and look at absolute velocity

Absolute velocity keeps jumping between ~31 to ~11, resulting in a jittery effect. This does not happen in the older version of the mod if I'm not mistaken
