What happened wrong?

Attempted to rebind D-pad for controller to a train mod. However the keybinds only work when the game is paused. Keybinds work correctly on keyboard without needing to pause.

This issue is specific of this mod (or any mod that does the same "mistake"), it needs a keyboard input to work, independently of the bindings. This should be fixed by this mod creator/developers.
