I recently made a modpack, and after a (painful) session of toggling mods for 20 minutes, I found out that Light Overlay causes the game to repeatedly crash.

This was causing another modpack I downloaded to crash, because it also had Light Overlay (Forge 1.17.1)

Ive attached my log above, which should also contain the mod list

The version im using specifically is light-overlay-6.0.1-forge

I couldnt find a direct cause of the error, and it doesnt seem to even point to light overlay in the log, but after disabling it on both modpacks, both ran perfectly fine. They both only crashed when light overlay was included, and doesnt even manage to open the game window. It just crashes before the game even opens
