I suggest adding a liquid storage tank. This will be a very useful item, the idea is taken from the Ender Storage mod.

+1 - adding that id love this feature to be added to your mod also!

I will consider this now that fabric has matured a bit and the addition of the transfer Api. I avoided doing this in the past due to the lack of a standard.
