Currently, there is no way to make it so when you manually place a sign from a schematic (e.g. via the Easy Place mode), the sign is placed with the correct content according to the schematic.

Describe the solution you'd like
Ideally, when you place a sign by using the Easy Place mode, the content is pasted along with the sign, without you having to manually remember and type out the content of the sign.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I could just type out the content of every single sign normally, but that can take several minutes (even hours if you need to place more than a couple stacks of signs with content). Even for signs without any content, you still open up the sign edit GUI for each such place of these signs.

I already added an option for this a while back in the 1.12.2 version. I think it was a completely separate option that works also without the Easy Place mode. I don't remember if I made it also close the GUI automatically or only insert the text to the GUI...
