Can you add language files?

Hello, I'm glad you can make such an excellent module. Since English is not my mother tongue, can you add language files for litematica configs in 1.12.2 forge version as in 1.16.5? I'm a map author. I really hope to use litematica to add buildings to the map. I'm sorry to disturb you.

I did this, but some of the litematica configs are in English. When I tried to add it manually, it didn't take effect. This is my screenshot

The old code didn't really properly support localizing the config names and comments. That was added recently as a quick hack solution in the 1.18.x versions.

However the 1.12.2 LiteLoader branch (which is the main development version) has proper support for localizing the config names and comments, so it will arrive at some point soon-ish to the 1.12.2 versions.

Would you be able to work on translating Litematica into your native language? When the translation is ready, you can open a pull request with the addition of your language.

In other words, 1.12 will have the same version of localized menu as 1.16, right?

Not sure what you mean exactly with same version, but basically 1.12.2 will have the first "properly implemented" full localization support for the config menus. So the config names, comments and the config category names all can be translated, and the code isn't just a temporary hack. And that code will then later be ported to all the 1.13+ versions of the mod as well.

One of the main downsides in the current temporary 1.18+ implementation is that the translation keys don't have "mod namespacing", which means that for example Item Scroller, MiniHUD and Tweakeroo will all have the same translation key for the hotkey that opens the config screen:

"config.name.openconfiggui": "Open Config Screen",

Which means that you can't make it say for example Open MiniHUD Config Screen, as then that would appear for all of the mods.

I'm not sure yet when the 1.12.2 Forge versions will get the initial port from the LiteLoader branch, and thus when exactly you'll be able to do the proper localizations. The main issue currently is that Litematica hasn't yet been ported to all the malilib rewrites that have happened over the past 1.5 years in the LiteLoader code base. But I'm going to be working on that port pretty soon.
