Post to CurseForge or Modrinth?

I came across this mod on Modrinth in my modmanager when I looked up litematica so there is definitely a benfit from doing this as RandomGGames said
There would be some benefits actually, especially for the end user.
For the mod creator, most likely more people would download the mod and you'd get higher user counts due to the mod being easier to find on these popular websites. Most people don't browse GitHub alone for mods, relying on these big mod sites to find mods. I didn't even know this mod existed until someone brought it to my attention. I think Modrinth can even be integrated into github for easy managing, but not 100% sure, not a mod creator.
As for the end users, It would 1) be easier to find the mod if they didn't know about it and 2) the install process could be automated with the use of mod managers. People just find the mod, select it, and install. They even keep the mods updated for the correct versions of minecraft.
Okay, haven't used mod managers myself but that is a good point. I should look into it next time I do a release
Hey! You've posted a few releases but still haven't seen anything on any other websites. Still think you could do this?
Maybe I could help out and keep a Modrinth page updated for you if you're interested?
Still planning on putting it on curseforge, but feel free to create a Modrinth for the project since I don't see myself updating the mod in more websites than github and curseforge.
I appreciate you letting me to do that.
Should be available as soon as it's approved. https://modrinth.com/mod/litematica-printer
If you're interested, you can sign in via GitHub and I can set you as the developer, but that's up to you.
Thank you for letting me, and thank you for dealing with me :P
Hey! It's been a while since I've asked you about allowing me to do this. Since then, I have actually accumulated some earning through the posting. I haven't touched it yet, but I don't feel right just taking them without consulting you since you created the mod. Maybe we can discuss what to do with it? Otherwise I will leave.
@RandomGgames a temporary version for 1.21 is up on the github

@RandomGgames I was wondering how much money is the project generating via the modrinth revenue share? Was surprised by how many downloads it has
I told you posting on Modrinth was a good idea! :D
This is the only project I’ve helped manage so that makes figuring out the revenue easy. As of 3 minutes ago when I checked, there’s $138.42 available to be withdrawn, and more pending from the last few months that cannot be taken yet. This is the amount from the very beginning, as I haven’t withdrawn anything since I created the modrinth page, and still haven’t.
