So the first time I saw it misplace a item I instantly came here. I saw someone said it misplaced while on a slow hover, so I tried to do it while being still and it still did it occasionally. I believe the problem to be caused by the lack of delay between switching blocks "particularly from inventory to hotbar" and placing blocks.

Additionally I found a redstone related bug. When placing pistons on a active redstone signal while being on the wrong side it creates a ghost piston head until the area is unloaded. This ghost piston head is unbreakable by any means.

this seems to be the issue i am having also, the thing switching from blocks in inventory and hotbar while placing and accidentally places wrong block
