Not sure if this is the right place, but I cant compile litematica for fabric for the snapshots. Same problem with malilib. Not sure if its my java, tried reinstalling java and the jdk but still doesnt work. Now it doesnt even start compiling and gives me some java home error, but before I reinstalled java is started but then didn't finish and gave me some error.

I would need more info than "some error". All I can say is that the builds work fine for me, using Java 8u242 I believe. And like vacla mentioned, there are usually ready made builds available at the link provided.

The only reason to build the mod yourself from this repo is if you want the latest code from the main development branch (master, which is 1.12.2 LiteLoader) before new builds are made. But that would often require a custom malilib build and dependency as well, as things change in malilib so that the latest build available on my maven isn't enough for the latest code anymore.
