it says that i cant place a block in the schematic but its also being very random sometimes i can place blocks sometimes i cant but mostly not im on a 1.19 fabric server with carpet mod and carpet extra with protocol version 2 on and accurateblockplacement is on

Are you spam clicking? Don't. (There is a 2 second cooldown per block position to prevent accidental double-placing. You should be using the easyPlaceHoldEnabled option instead of fast clicking yourself. If you miss-click then the easy place mode won't even activate in the current 1.13+ code.)

Or are you too far away for the block to get placed?

i just tested it in a creative world and it works when im in creative but if im in survival it says "action prevented by the easy place mode"

the thing is is that it works in creative but not survival which confuses me

i have easy place hold enabled but it still dosent want to place anything

If the server prevents clicking on air blocks, then easy place won't be able to place anything. If it's a Fabric server, then it must be some mod that does that check, as it works by default in vanilla.
