I wonder if it's perhaps possible to have a option of disabling or a chance of the pins resetting if your lockpick breaks while picking locks. Reason for this ask is because... Diamond Locks... well... the length on them is long and having to redo the lock a few times can kinda be... iffy, espcially if they have the Sturdy Enchantment.

If going with chance, perhaps the better the lockpick on lower tier locks, the less likely it will reset the pins upon breaking. One example is if you fail a Wooden Lock with a Diamond Lockpick the pins will have a 10% chance of resetting but a Diamond Lockpick on a Diamond Lock will have a rough 50%(?) chance of the pins getting reset upon breaking. Sturdy or Complex Enchantment could affect this reset chance.
