Compiled 1.12 from source, and even when BC config file is on they dont connect

I have BC and LP for the compiled 1.12. It seems that they dont interact well. Ik you are moving away from bc but they dont connect even when the config is on for that

mod compatibility is off atm

1.12 is currently alpha with no mod compatibility
