Item ignoring terminus module

Hello,
I'm trying to automate the advanced ore processing of Industrial Craft. The byproduct of iron processing is a "tiny pile of gold powder." 9 of these result in a powder of gold.
The Logistics Crafting Table can not be used to create this by-product because the Logistics Crafting Table needs a requisition to create an item, so I'm trying to use the Buildcraft Advanced Crafting Table.
So my setup looks like this:
Advanced Crafting Table attached to an MK2 Chassis Pipe, this chassis contains a Terminus Module with the item and an Extractor module.
But the item is ignoring the terminus module and going to the default route. Am I doing something wrong?
