[1.12.2] Fluid Supplier Pipes voiding liquid under certain conditions

First off, some versions.
Minecraft 1.12.2
Forge 14.23.5.2847
FTB Infinity pack 2.0.7
Logistics Pipes 0.10.3.51
Thermal Expansion 5.5.7.1
Thermal Dynamics 1.12.2-1.1.7

I've encountered various cases where Fluid Suppliers will void their liquids.

  1. Fluid Supplier is connected to a machine (in this case an EnderIO tank), but due to the wiring, it is also adjacent to a Thermal Dynamics fluiduct. The fluiduct appears connected to the Fluid Supplier pipe. Fluids will often void into the fluiduct. This drained my network of the fluid before I noticed.

I disconnected the fluiduct with the wrench, and added a disconnection upgrade to the supplier. Neither seemed to have any effect and liquid continued to be requested and voided.

  1. Adjacent Fluid suppliers seem to void liquids into each other. I had a line of machines (GregTech in this case), with Fluid Suppliers down both sides. The Suppliers would void, I presume into each other. However unlike point 1, they semed to stop requesting so they did not drain my network.

  2. This case seemed more strange and involved the Thermal Expansion Portable Tank. This tank has a blue light on the side, indicating normal mode, and can be smacked with a wrench into an orange light, which exports fluids into a container below it.

My layout was a Fluid Supplier pipe on top, with a TE Tank just below it, set to orange export mode, with a fluid pipe (Mekanism in this case) below the tank. The Fluid Supplier is not adjacent to any other tile entity, but would void liquids going into the Tank. Fluids supply normally if the tank is in blue mode, and I extract fluid from the bottom of the tank through other means.
