Includes a GUI that has several tabs to clean things up. More to come into this issue.

I think #827 should also be mentioned here.

Just having a stray thought here, would it be possible to give Remote Order pipes ID's like Satellite pipes have? Then add an option to the Request Table and maybe the Remote Order itself to allow item requests to destinations/ID's that aren't the block that the request originated from.

For example, this would give the ability to remotely send items to people over Enderchests without having a Remote Orderer for each destination or a bunch of Enderpouches Remotely place items into inventories for charging would be another. I am sure there are plenty of innovative uses.

@DZCreeper a good idea, but it does not belong into this issue, as the Request Table does not equal the Remote Orderer. Would you mind opening a new issue? Just give it a name, and copy-paste your text. Maybe mention this issue by it's number, so we have a link from here.

Came here to open one or more enhancement requests around this exact topic. I'll lay them out here but you may already have other plans (I hadn't considered how a tabbed interface may solve some of these). Just putting them up for comment:

  • GUI Should remember whether I had the request inventory hidden or not, or have an adjustable default (ultimately, the problem here is the GUI is too big and blocks NEI, so putting the crafting and request on their own tabs might solve this too)
  • Related to above, even with the request inventory hidden the GUI is too tall and blocks the NEI search box. So I have to search for an item outside of the GUI, then open the request table, click the hide button to see the NEI content, click the item and then finally the [?] to load it into the table ... LOTS of extra steps
  • Assuming the request interface was on its own tab, it would be nice to link the search with NEI so that if an item didn't exist in the logistics network, it would be waiting in NEI for you to click on and load into the crafting table.
  • Request table doesn't know its own inventory (See #706)
