FTB Infinity Evolved 2.2.2 (LogisticsPipes 0.9.3.70).
I have 7 recyclers (oc4) connected to logistics chassis mk4 with extractor mk 2 and active supplier (bulk50 of 64 cobble) modules, one igneous extruder with two augments inserting to the system 32 cobblestone about once a second and JABBA's barrel with cobblestone. This setup provides me net positive income of cobblestone.

But if I also add passive supplier modules with request of 50-64 cobble for recyclers, I will get net negative income of cobblestone.

Passive Supplier module can lose items only in one case - if there is no other destination for this items in LP system (including default route). This happens because LP system send more items to Passive Supplier module than it need and Passive Supplier module try to reroute excess items to other destination.
