Comments in bag config?

Does the Bag config file support comments? If so, what is the syntax? If not, is this something that could be added?
It would be very handy to be able to add a comment next to items in the white/black lists so you know what they are.
Here's an example of me white-listing all the gears from ThermalFoundation to give you an idea of why this would be useful:

Here's an example of a mending book:

Looking at the above lines you can't really tell what these items are unless you recently added them or look them up in JEI.
