The 1.21.2 release is only valid for 1.21.2 and 1.21.3. As far as I'm aware it was not marked compatible on CurseForge or Modrinth with 1.21.4, which features significant changes from 1.21.3. I'm afraid you will need to wait until the 1.21.4 port is finished, which I have been working on recently.

This is unfortunately a trend that Mojang have started in recent versions. For example, 1.19.0-1.19.2 were compatible, but both 1.19.3 and 1.19.4 had significant changes. Likewise, 1.20 had the same issue, and now 1.21 does also. Most significantly, rendering has changed in both 1.21.2 and then even more major changes in 1.21.4.

Delayed, but I'm quite sure this was released.
