The idea is to enable the function that allows players to access other chest like normal chest.
So when you enable regenerate chest they would still regenerate but after a period of time instead.

Unfortunately, Lootr is specifically designed around the concept of personal loot rather than around the idea of regenerating loot. It would be impossible to separate the personal aspect out of things to make this a configurable option.
