Haven't seen anything about it or see anyone talk about it, but are there any playns or is it even possible to make this work with Fabric mod loader?

Once I learn Fabric, sure. I'm currently on an unofficial mod break until the end of this month (well, technically until I get back from holiday in December). At the minute it isn't a priority.
