Ive been playing on my server with my partner and we are at similar xp levels. He has received non stop trinkets and I am yet to see one.. I feel there may be something not quite right with distribution, maybe with multiplayer?

Trinkets unlocking are not based on XP, it's random, just do things like mining, farming, killing mobs/bosses etc...
