Walking from a path block up to a full grass block currently doesn't work because the autostep ability can only raise the player by 16 pixels. Path blocks are 1 pixel shorter, jumping from a path up and onto a full block doesn't work.

Vanilla has settled on a 1.25 jump height to get around most of these issues.
