(MCPE) Players do not get hunger/saturation when eating the custom cake.

Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
When a player eats a slice from the custom cake they do not get hunger or saturation for consuming the slice.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Place any custom cake.
  2. In survival (and low hunger) eat a slice of cake.
  3. You can see that the hunger icon does not increase.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
Eating the custom cake will give the proper amount of hunger and saturation.

  • Minecraft Version: 1.16.220
  • Mod Version v1.5.0
  • OS: Windows 10
