I thought it would be cool to have new variant of snail living in this... otherwise pretty dead environment.
I mean... literally dead, there are just Skeletons and Ghasts everywhere.

How could this one be different from Overworld variant?

• While snail wouldn't be probably too fast, it could be not slowed down by Soul Sands and perhaps it could be a bit faster on soul blocks. Combine this with massive storage capacity and the fact that you travel in Nether much faster than in Overworld, you got a really nice, tho quite slow mount.
• New variant of Shell being made out of Skull. Not only that would look absolutely amazing, but perhaps you could farm Snails for those skulls?
  Skulls would be basically building blocks you could turn into light sources by putting a torch inside of it (like Pumpkins) or could alternatively crush into bonemeal in a pinch,
• While it could still accept mushrooms (as you can still find those growing in Nether), instead of grass or kelp this new variant would feed on Crimson and Warped Fungus, Roots or Blocks... or respective types of vines or even Shroomlight!
  Those blocks are generated in large amounts after a session of harvesting Nether Wood/Fungi, so they shouldn't be too difficult to find.
• Another farmable Nether mob could be really cool. At the moment we only have like... Hoglins and Striders.
