Whitelist > autorank?

Im currently using MCLink as a Twitch whitelist for the Server to only allow Twitch Subscribers on the server. MCLink registers the Subscription Tier of each person to join, would it be possible to have it set where depending on the Tier that MCLink provides in the console, could i potentially use that to auto-assign users to certain groups with LuckPerms?
LP has an API that can be used for stuff like that.
I don't know how that MCLink plugin works, so you probably have to ask the dev itself, since it's MCLink that manages those "connections" (or however you call them)
Now, by your title for the thread, whitelist isn't necessarily better than autorank, since whitelist flat out denies entry to the server and autorank grants permissions. But your actual question if MCLink issues a command in console to whitelist them and you are able to change the command, ranks of permissions might be possible.
