Description

Hey!
Today I was trying to setup LP on a local server - and right at the beginning I can't get the permissions to work - the permissions default to false, so even after giving myself luckperms.* etc. I don't have the permissions to do anything I wouldnt otherwise.

Reproduction steps

I honestly don't know how I caused this behaviour, neither how to reproduce it

Expected behaviour

Well I would expect the server to register the permissions - I know this is a vague / short answer, but as the problem is something with the core principle of the plugin, I hope this answer suffices

Environment details

Proxy is BungeeCord-Bootstrap:1.16-R0.4-SNAPSHOT:9c078b7:1539 (latest version at 24th of november 2020)
server is paper 1.16.4 build 288
luckperms v5.2.41

I tried looking into it by doing what I and Fefo could think of (in discord) but we can't figure out the problem(s).
