Possible to export groups only?

Question here, wondering if it's possible to allow us to export groups only.
We like to load up our exports daily onto github, and with the amount of users, github is now refusing to show us the diff unless we use a local client.
Potential request for /lp export file.txt -groups command if possible. Would be a major help!
