Is there a reason for 1.20.4 over 1.20.1?

The branch is labeled as 1.20.x, but on Forge it's listed as 1.20.4 specifically and even testing it with 1.20.1 it's not considered a valid mod file by Forge if you try. Is there a reason that specifically only 1.20.4 is supported even though 1.20.1 is the more common version?

(apologies if this comes off as yet another 'plz port' or 'port when' posts, but I'm genuinely not sure if this is an error in some of the versioning or not because I think this would be the only mod I've ever seen to specifically support 1.20.4 but not 1.20.1. Especially given that the branch is labled specifically as 1.20.x, implying that it should support all subversions, I'm not sure if this is a simple case of an absentmindedly set version number causing issues or something and the built artifacts are supposed to be valid for 1.20.1-1.20.4, but they're just only built for 1.20.4 or something.)

I think it was because when I started porting 1.20.4 was the "new shiny thing" and I was trying to go for it? I haven't touched Minecraft in any meaningful capacity for a couple of months now but if I start working on it again I'll take a look at what versions are being used.

Ah, okay, that makes sense. I myself have been off of Minecraft for a few years now (that makes it sound like a drug for some reason) so I get it. Actually the only reason I noticed the issue at all was that I've been looking through my old 19.2 pack seeing what mods I'd have to sacrifice to update to 1.20.1, and that's when I noticed the strange 1.20.4 version. As I was going through I noticed that basically every mod that had a version beyond 19.2 had a 1.20.1 version as well, except for this which strangely had a 20.4 but no 20.1, so I got curious and looked into it more.

If I didn't have that context of seeing the version numbers of every single mod in my pack as I was incrementing through it I probably wouldn't have ever noticed it as odd.

Unfortunately ever since maybe 1.12 it feels like there's been a bit of an 'version stampede' so even as someone who doesn't do much of any modding myself if can be hard to figure out what the 'right' version to aim for is. Still it's definitely good to hear that it's not an intentional-choice/technical-limitation or something as I would've really hated having to lose this in my pack when I do finally get around to updating it.
