After some testing i found it's hard to interact with Shipping containers using other mods. They have the old issue Deep storages from MFR had years ago, other devices can only read the current stack available and not the total amount.

Tested with RFTools screens and Refined Storage mostly. It would be nice if the total amount stored could be available as data for other mods to use and read what's in there, it makes Shipping containers hardly usable in an advanced storage system as you have no way to know how many items are stored.

The same issue happens with other machines and the inventory system seems rather basic, with no internal limits on what can fit in a slot. As a quick example, trying to input automatically into the Hydraulic press resulted in the ingots being added to the output slot, then taken out on the other side instantly.
