I know I probably wont get a response since this is a really old mod, but its worth a shot. Whenever I go to make iron plates by crushing the iron ingot, the iron ingot just goes right back into my inventory. I really need this solved so I can progress so please let me know how to fix it

you need to use an iron block, not an ingot

There is no recipe for iron ingot to iron plate in the crushing table.
You can use a hydraulic press or add the recipe with minetweaker.

That makes double iron plates, I need light
