Killing an enemy with scythe crashes the game

I have the same issue.
I kill a ghast in the nether with the scythe and the game crash

Edit: I remove the mod Rubidium and it's work for me, i can use the scythe without crash.
See #109. We got the same issue. Error likely will be resolved by making a change to Ortus' config. Rubidium can be kept.
Go to your config folder, look for the client config for ortus lib, and turn off particle buffering.
Above listed thing doesn't fix it in the latest beta version. 1.18.2-1.4 I had to turn off Rubidium to get it to work at all without crashing my single player world. I can post logs if needed.
I think it has to do with the Malum Book Spawning. when you kill a mob but this is definitely not fixed unless you disable Rubidium
