You can't see how many rows of hearts the player originally had, for example say I had 5 rows it doesn't say I originally had 5 rows so how am I supposed to check how many rows of hearts I have stacked up?

The color of the heart tells you how many rows you have. If you do not like using the color, disable the feature in the config.
