So when players are attacking with a high damage tool, the red heart damage particles get very overwhelmed. I believe that adding a config option to control the on and off of that function would be very helpful.

We don't add damage particles, thats vanilla: https://minecraft.wiki/w/Particles_(Java_Edition)
