TF magic map cant be merged with Atlas 1.20.1

Tried merging it empty and mapped, does the magic map even scale like normal maps? [Forge btw]

Yes it does. It should say and I believe they are always max scale, 16

You can also tell by how small the circle of explored land around you is

Even with cartography table? You sure they have same scale?
