Filters like:

• Minimum/maximum highest solid block
• Highest block list
• Biome

To easily draw the frontiers based on landscape (e. g. all over the island, player-built house or certain biome).

It sounds like very complex algorithms to work on arbitrary terrain and buildings, but I'll think about it.
