Quicklime and Heat Resistant Glass!!!

The crucible furnace first of all is ridiculously SLOW! And extremely expensive with fuel and such. Limestone needs 825 degrees to melt and i wasted a fair amount of wood and coal just to melt 3 blocks of limestone into quicklime. I didn't want much quicklime anyway just something to start off with but, when I went to see how to get it out off the crucible furnace I find out that I need a special kind of bottle. The bottle requires heat resistant glass and in order to make that you need molten aluminum and quicklime... And the only way to get quicklime is to melt it in the crucible furnace... So now there is now way i can craft the bottle when I can't get the quickime out without quicklime...UGHH!!! Pure frustration! So now I wasted all this wood and coal for NOTHING!... Please fix this... I would really like to enjoy this mod without the frustrations! Thanks...

This is not a problem. This is more a lack of understanding of how things work, and what is best way to go about things.

One: The Crucible Furnace is ONLY slow when you have no upgrades in it, when you have it fully (speed wise upgraded, with hyperkinetic upgrades), it takes less than two seconds to process TWO items. In all reality it is much more efficient to use lava in a tank to heat up the crucible furnace. You can also put heating upgrades in, and it takes much less time to heat up.

The Bottles are NOT the only way to get quicklime out. You have a few other options, you could pipe it out with fluiducts from thermal expansion or an equivalent in another mod. You could even just use the auto-eject fluid option from the crucible furnace itself, which would put it's liquids in adjacent blocks. There's also the option of using the ladle to do it(though that does only hold 144mB). Other mods also probably have more options.
