I am finding weapons with gun attachment enchantments, and am getting the enchants through the enchantment table. For example, when I enchant a golden sword at 30 levels I have a chance at getting the sticky bomb attachment or micro missiles enchantment. Books I find with the enchantments transfer their enchantments to melee weapons when used in an anvil.

It may be relevant that I am using Apotheosis.
