now we use fabric to develop some mods, and i find the mcef mod doesn't work on newer minecraft version. etc 1.17.1
and i find out the reason is : jdk version is too high, and mcef couldn't work fine at jdk16.

so do you have some plans to update it ?

I am working on a new project to replace mcef/webdisplays using FabricMC that supports the latest version of the game. Will update here when I have released that

we are devloping FabricMC with version 1.18(the latest version) of the game, it has worked well on windows. but it doesn't work well on mac.

I thinks we can do some collaboration to get this done.
