Backport to 1.12.2

Hi, i love this mod! Do you plan to add support for 1.12.2?
After all, most of the mod servers run on this version, and it, in turn, is a successor to the old 1.7.10.
This would solve a lot of performance issues!
Adding my name into the hat of people that would like to see this for 1.12.2 . A lot of mods either haven't updated or won't update for a variety of reasons. As much as newer minecraft is far better on the backend, 1.12.2 is going to be around for quite a long time.
@Zilacon API 8 of Sponge is 1.16.5 afaik
By what this comment says, Jediminer543 wants to do some small tweaks before starting to move to other versions, but if i can ask, what exactly is required to stabilise before the backport?
No need to hurry, great things take time, just the curiosity
Can't wait for this
I really don't want to be pessimistic but the project is kinda paused right now and there is a priority to update to the latest version from my understanding so it's kinda "future if you're still using 1.12 in multiples years"...
Hi, it's possible I could look into doing this at some point, but the forge coremodding system was totally overhauled between 1.12 and 1.15 so I would need to do a COMPLETE rewrite of ALL the coremodding code, not to mention having to re-read all affected files.
So while technically possible it would require the investment of a lot of time I currently don't have, as I'm still working on patches for the current version
After I have enough code for the current one stabilised I may look into it but until then it's unfeasable
But if you (or anyone else you can find) want advice on how I made this work, please feel free to ask; I'm happy to help provide pointers to pitfalls
Im also extremely interested in this for 1.12.2.
Ive been looking for some kind of update to the TickThreading mod for modern versions.
Shame starting point wasn't 1.12.2, its the standard for servers. I wish I could port it myself but I'm afraid my coding ability is too weak.
I'll be looking forward to it. On a side note, I'm willing to test a 1.12.2 version whenever it gets to that phase.
